                             (After the death of her mother, Littie Sue was reared by Clyde and Saratha Roach-Hutson, sister of Lawrence Augustus Roach.) Littie Sue attended elementary school at Apple Springs, Trinity County, TX. and moved to Lufkin, Trinity County, TX. in 1945 where she attended and graduated from Hudson High School in May, 1952. She went to work for Lufkin Telephone Company in August 1952. Sue met Vance in June 1960 in Lufkin, TX.

                             Married Mar 02 1962, Vance Howard Roberts #1697, born Aug 20 1931 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, TX. (son of Henry Forest Roberts #1698 and Inez Myrtle Brown #1699).

                             Vance: Vance attended grade school and high school in San Angelo, Texas and joined the US Navy on Jan 24, 1951. He was stationed on a minesweeper (U. S. S. Murrelet AM 372 serving around Japan and Korean coasts and was honorably discharged on December 17, 1954. Vance went back to San Angelo where he graduated from San Angelo Jr. College in May, 1956. He worked at various jobs until 1959 when he went to work for General Telephone Directory Company and traveled seven states with the company, he met Littie Sue in Lufkin, Trinity County, TX. in 1960.
